Placements24 is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager for a distinguished luxury hotel in Centurion. You will oversee all F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, banqueting, and room service, driving guest satisfaction and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high-volume upscale environments, strong leadership, and expertise in financial management. Flexible hours, with evenings and weekends, are expected as part of delivering exceptional service

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive F&B management experience in luxury hotels or high-end venues.
• Proven track record in managing multiple F&B outlets and events.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, P&L analysis, and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and guest service skills.
• Knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails and dining trends.
• Legally eligible to work in South Africa.

About the Role

Our client, a distinguished luxury hotel situated in Centurion , is looking for an experienced and polished Food and Beverage Manager. This role is crucial for overseeing the entire spectrum of food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, banqueting, and room service. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, driving revenue growth, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and service delivery. We seek a motivated individual with a strong background in high-volume, upscale food and beverage environments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a keen understanding of financial management within the F&B sector, and a passion for creating memorable dining moments for our guests in Centurion .

Key Responsibilities

Manage and direct all F&B operations, ensuring profitability and service excellence. Develop and implement innovative menus and beverage programs in collaboration with culinary teams. Oversee the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and room service. Manage banqueting and events, ensuring flawless execution and client satisfaction. Control beverage costs, inventory management, and supplier relations. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Train, supervise, and motivate F&B staff to deliver exceptional service standards. Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans for F&B outlets. Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction. Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of the F&B department. Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and ensure competitive pricing. Conduct regular team meetings and performance appraisals.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Food and Beverage management, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant. Proven track record of success in managing multiple F&B outlets. Strong financial acumen, including budget management, P&L analysis, and cost control. Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills. In-depth knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and culinary trends. Experience with event management and banqueting operations. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Proficiency in F&B management software and POS systems. A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is advantageous. Must be legally eligible to work in South Africa .
