Job summary

Clicks Group in Centurion is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead the store operations, drive sales and ensure excellent customer service. You will manage expenses, stock, and payroll while upholding brand standards and compliance.

The role requires strong people leadership, strategic planning and stakeholder coordination to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction in a dynamic FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Sound understanding of financial management principles.
• Strong retail/FMCG background with merchandising and promotions knowledge.
• Knowledge of stock, cost, risk and compliance management.
• Knowledge of customer service excellence and labour legislation.

Responsibilities

• Drive and maximize store sales, monitor daily/weekly/monthly targets.
• Manage all store operations including expenses, stock, shrinkage and admin.
• Lead in-store execution of visual merchandising and brand standards.
• Develop and lead employees through selection, coaching and development.
• Schedule staff per labour policy and ensure appropriate staffing.
• Maintain time and attendance records and HR documentation.
• Drive customer service initiatives to enhance loyalty and club card uptake.
• Build relationships with centre managers, suppliers and DCs.
