Job summary

Clicks Group Limited is seeking a Store Manager in Kuilsrivier to lead store operations, drive sales and ensure service excellence across the team. The role focuses on financial performance, stock control, merchandising, staffing, and supplier/centre stakeholder coordination.

You will oversee visual presentation, staff development and adherence to brand standards while delivering a great customer experience and loyalty programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a store management role within a retail/FMCG environment.
• Extensive people management experience of a large and diverse workforce.
• Financial management experience (budgets, profit and loss statements, financial ratios, etc.).
• Essential: Grade 12 with Maths and English; Essential: B. Degree or Diploma in retail/finance management or related.

Responsibilities

• Achieve the store’s financial performance by driving sales and monitoring daily/weekly/monthly targets.
• Efficiently manage store operations including expenses, stock, shrinkage and admin.
• Lead in-store execution of visual merchandising to uphold brand standards.
• Develop and coach employees to build capacity for current and future needs.
• Schedule staff in line with labour policy and ensure adequate department staffing.
• Maintain weekly time and attendance and HR records.
• Drive customer service initiatives to enhance loyalty and club card participation.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
• Monitor customer trends and competitor activity to capitalize on opportunities.
• Foster cohesion between store operations, pharmacy and clinic teams.
• Support a high-performance culture delivering employee engagement and shareholder value.
• Live the company values to be the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer.
