Job summary

Clicks Group is seeking a Store Manager (Top) for the Kenilworth Centre in Cape Town. You will lead and direct the store operations team to meet sales, profit and compliance targets, drive customer service excellence and ensure brand standards.

The role requires a strong retail/FMCG background, proven leadership of large teams, and expertise in financial management, merchandising and labour and performance management in a busy store environment.

Qualifications

• Sound understanding of financial management principles and strong retail/FMCG background.
• Experience managing large teams and driving sales targets.
• Knowledge of stock, cost, risk and compliance management procedures.
• Knowledge of customer service excellence and labour practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the store operations team to meet sales and compliance targets.
• Drive and maximise sales, track daily, weekly and monthly targets, and take action as needed.
• Manage stock, expenses, shrinkage, general housekeeping and administration.
• Execute in-store visual merchandising and maintain brand standards.
• Schedule staff in line with labour policy and the relevant labour model.
• Foster relationships with stakeholders and drive customer experience and loyalty.
