Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a tertiary qualification in Sales or Marketing is advantageous.
• 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably FMCG.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets in field sales.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong customer focus and relationship-building abilities.
• Knowledge of the Mahikeng North West FMCG distribution channels is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory in Mahikeng.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with retail clients, distributors, and other stakeholders.
• Present and sell the company's range of FMCG products effectively, meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Negotiate sales terms, pricing, and promotions to secure profitable business.
• Ensure optimal product placement, merchandising, and stock levels at retail points of sale.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Gather market intelligence, including competitor activities and customer feedback, and report to management.
• Execute promotional activities and marketing campaigns at the retail level.
• Maintain accurate sales records and manage administrative tasks related to sales activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
