Placements24 is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our FMCG sales operations in Mahikeng, North West. You will oversee a regional team, develop sales strategies, and drive revenue growth across a broad consumer products portfolio.

You will maintain strong retailer and distributor relationships, analyze market trends, and forecast sales while ensuring product availability and brand visibility. The role requires significant local travel and a hands-on leadership approach.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a sales management or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team to achieve targets.
• Deep knowledge of the FMCG market, distribution channels, and retail landscape in South Africa.
• Strong understanding of sales strategies, marketing principles, and merchandising techniques.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated success in building and managing strong client relationships.
• Proficiency with CRM software and sales analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets for FMCG products in Mahikeng, North West.
