Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to grow our FMCG brands in the Upington region. This field-based role involves visiting retailers, driving shelf presence, and hitting monthly sales targets through proactive selling and relationship-building.

You will manage product displays, gather market feedback, and coordinate orders with timely delivery. A valid driver''s license and reliable vehicle are required, with travel within the Northern Cape expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably FMCG/retail.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of sales processes and CRM.
• Ability to work independently, manage time, and plan routes.
• Valid driver''s license and reliable vehicle.
• Familiarity with Upington and Northern Cape retail landscape.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and results-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell a wide range of FMCG products to retail customers within the assigned territory.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective selling techniques.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store owners, managers, and staff.
• Ensure optimal product placement, visibility, and stock levels on shelves in retail outlets.
• Introduce new products and promotions to customers, explaining their benefits and features.
• Gather market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, and product offerings.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer queries and resolving issues promptly.
• Process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company''s brand positively.
• Submit regular sales reports, including call plans, sales achieved, and market feedback.
