Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to service telecommunications equipment in and around Tembisa. This hands-on role involves traveling to customer sites to install, maintain, and repair telecom systems, ensuring network integrity and high service quality.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years of field service experience, technical certification in electronics or telecommunications preferred, and strong diagnostic skills for hardware and software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field technician experience, telecom preferred.
• Proficient in diagnosing hardware and software on telecom devices.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Valid driver's license for travel in the Tembisa area.
• Technical certification in electronics or telecommunications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair telecom hardware and software at customer locations.
• Perform routine maintenance and diagnostic checks on network equipment.
• Respond promptly to service requests and resolve issues efficiently.
• Document all service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures on-site.
