About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and technically adept Field Service Technician to join their team in Polokwane . In this hands‑on role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment at customer sites and network facilities. You will ensure the optimal functioning of network infrastructure, troubleshoot technical issues efficiently, and provide excellent on‑site customer support. This position requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission telecommunications equipment, including routers, switches, modems, and access points.
• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on network infrastructure and customer premises equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to connectivity, signal quality, and equipment malfunction.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures while working on‑site in the Limpopo province.
• Provide clear and concise reports on service calls, including actions taken and resolution of issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics or telecommunications is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar technical support role.
• Familiarity with various telecommunications technologies and equipment.
• Strong practical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record; ability to travel to various locations.
