Job summary

The Talent Room is seeking a Field Sales Agent in South Africa to proactively identify, approach, and convert potential customers into subscribers. This role is commission-driven and requires a self-starter who can independently build and manage a sales pipeline and deliver against KPIs.

You will plan daily field routes, perform door-to-door canvassing, and hand over new subscribers to installation teams. A valid driver's license and own vehicle are required to operate in the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 required.
• 1–2 years outbound sales experience.
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Target-driven with strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; CRM experience advantageous.
• English and local languages spoken.
• Knowledge of broadband/ LTE/ wireless helpful.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sell to new and existing customers.
• Upsell and cross-sell where opportunities exist.
• Manage full sales cycle from contact to activation.
• Plan daily field routes and canvassing to build pipeline.
• Prospect, cold-call, and pitch potential subscribers.
• Submit weekly activity reports and maintain CRM records.
• Provide market intelligence on competitors and pricing.
• Handover new subscribers to installation and after-sales teams.
