Job summary

SAB is seeking a field-based sales professional in South Africa to drive growth by increasing volumes, market share, and competitiveness. The role focuses on differentiated service within identified segments and requires strong local market knowledge.

You will manage distributors, ensure product availability, monitor pricing, and stay ahead of competitor actions to sustain market position. A 3-year degree and FMCG experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-year degree qualification is required.
• At least 2 years' experience in sales/marketing/FMCG environment.
• Basic computer literacy and experience working with Microsoft Office.
• Local area knowledge is a requirement.
• Excellent administration skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets for assigned areas.
• Manage and supervise distributors of assigned sector (order, payment, re‑distribution).
• Ensure IB products are available in reasonable stock (complete range) in the customers and retail outlets.
• Ensure chillers are properly placed in the performing outlet and used exclusively for IB PLC products in the assigned sector.
• Monitor the recommended price of our product at sales outlets.
• Closely monitor actions of the competition.
