Job summary

African Echoes Recruitment seeks a seasoned Housekeeping Manager for a luxury lodge in Pilanesberg, North West. You will lead the Housekeeping department to uphold 5-star standards, guide staff, and ensure pristine guest environments while driving operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds a Hotel School Diploma and substantial 5-star housekeeping experience, with strong communication and change-management skills. Live-in accommodation is provided for this premium role.

Qualifications

• Hotel School Diploma or equivalent in Hospitality/Accommodation Services.
• Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager in a 5-star environment.
• Strong attention to detail and guest-centric approach.
• Ability to drive change and identify operational efficiencies.
• In-depth knowledge of laundry operations.
• Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Housekeeping department according to company policies and 5-star standards.
• Ensure excellent guest service at all times.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the lodge.
• Monitor staff productivity and daily administration and operational functions.
• Monitor consumption and procurement of guest amenities, linen, chemicals and cleaning supplies.
• Manage and lead the Housekeeping team effectively.
