Job summary

Castleburn Resort seeks an Executive Housekeeper to lead housekeeping operations, including laundry management, for both hotel rooms and timeshare units. The role requires strong administration, cost control, and staff development within a 4- to 5-star setting.

Fluent English communication and shift flexibility are essential. The successful candidate will report to the Deputy General Manager and ensure highest standards of cleanliness and service across all areas of the resort.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12; housekeeping management experience in 4- and 5-star environments.
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar position in hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Daily management of the housekeeping environment including laundry operations.
• Manage Laundry Department, staff, PAR levels and chemicals.
• Ensure high-quality linen and service for internal departments and external guests.
• Oversee outsourced housekeeping to maintain hotel rooms and timeshare units.
• Control and manage room equipment and supplies.

Position: EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER

SCOPE OF WORK

• Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for Managing the Laundry Department, all Laundry Staff, Equipment, PAR Levels and Chemicals.
• Maintaining a high standard of personal service with all customers internal (Departments) and external (Guests)
• Ensuring that only the highest quality of linen gets distributed to internal and external customers
• the Executive Housekeeper will oversee the outsourced Housekeeping Department, ensuring the Hotel Rooms as well as the Timeshare Units are maintained and cleaned, setting a standard of excellence in all areas
• Controlling and Managing Room Equipment and Supplies

REQUIREMENTS

• Computer Literate – Office applications
• Excellent Communication Skills – Fluent in English
• Basic mathematic and accounting knowledge essential
• Ability to control stock and be cost conscious
