Job summary

Qualifications

• Grade 12 and hospitality-related certificate or equivalent.
• 1–2 years reception or switchboard experience preferred.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and customer-service skills.
• Fluent in English with strong written and oral communication.
• Team player with good computer skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly at reception on entry and departure.
• Provide information about the estate, facilities and experiences.
• Conduct estate tours for guests.
• Operate telephone and switchboard for all calls.
• Refer calls and direct to appropriate person.
• Maintain bookings register and coordinate with Security.
• Prepare and update data related to the area of activity.
• Distribute information around the estate.
• Update electronic telephone directory.
• Communicate lunch/dinner booking sheets to restaurant and other departments.
• Keep management informed of guest concerns.
• Handle lost property and hand to security.
