Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Project Manager specializing in ERP systems for our Polokwane headquarters. The role focuses on leading ERP implementation, upgrades, and ongoing support, coordinating with diverse business units to optimize processes and drive efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management, with a strong focus on ERP implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
Proven track record of delivering complex ERP projects on time and within budget.
In-depth knowledge of ERP system functionalities, business processes, and implementation methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience managing large, diverse project teams.
Familiarity with the Polokwane business landscape is preferred.
PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of ERP implementation and upgrade projects.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with business strategy.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Manage cross-functional project teams, including functional experts, technical consultants, and end-users.
Oversee the configuration, customization, testing, and deployment of ERP modules.
Ensure effective data migration from legacy systems to the new ERP platform.
Manage stakeholder communication, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
Facilitate user training and provide post-implementation support.
Ensure the ERP system adheres to company policies, compliance requirements, and best practices.
