Job summary

Placements24 seeks a highly experienced Project Manager to lead a major ERP implementation for a large diversified industrial group based in East London, South Africa. You will own the full lifecycle from vendor selection and system design to deployment, training, go-live and post-go-live support.

You will drive change management, data migration, and ensure alignment with business objectives across finance, HR, supply chain and operations, requiring strong leadership and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Business Admin; Master's preferred.
• At least 10 years IT project management experience, with 5+ years in ERP implementations.
• Proven full-cycle ERP delivery from selection to go-live and post-go-live.
• Strong knowledge of ERP modules in finance, HR, supply chain, and operations.
• Experience with change management and user adoption.
• PMP or equivalent certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of ERP system implementation.
• Oversee vendor and partner selection and management.
• Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and risk strategies.
• Coordinate stakeholders across IT and business units.
• Manage data migration and post-implementation optimization.
