Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Law, Psychology, or related field.
• 4+ years of HR experience with emphasis on employee relations.
• Experience conducting investigations and resolving workplace conflicts.
• Solid understanding of South African labor law and ER best practices.
• Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Investigate employee grievances and complaints impartially.
• Mediate disputes between employees and management.
• Advise managers and employees on HR policies and employment law.
• Develop and deliver training on employee relations best practices.
• Ensure compliance with labor legislation and company policies.
• Collaborate with legal counsel on complex ER cases when needed.
• Contribute to development and refinement of HR policies and procedures.
• Promote a positive and respectful workplace culture.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback for improvements.
• Maintain confidential employee relations records.
