Placements24 is seeking an experienced HR Manager with a focus on Employee Relations to lead this critical function in Upington. The role involves developing strategies to foster a positive work environment, resolving complex employee relations issues, and advising senior management on conduct, disputes, and HR policies.

The ideal candidate has a Master's degree in HR/Law/Industrial Psychology and at least 10 years of HR experience, including 7 years in employee relations at a management level.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in HR, Law, Industrial Psychology or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience with minimum 7 years in employee relations at management level.
• Proven expertise in investigations, disciplinary hearings and labor disputes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive employee relations strategies and policies.
• Lead and manage all aspects of employee relations, including investigations, disciplinary actions and grievance procedures.
• Provide expert advice on employee relations matters and labor law compliance.
• Foster a positive workplace culture through proactive engagement and conflict resolution.
• Oversee performance management processes and talent development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with SA labor legislation and company HR policies.
