Placements24 is seeking an experienced HR Specialist focused on Employee Relations to join our team in Rustenburg. The role involves managing grievances, conducting confidential investigations, and advising management on conduct and disciplinary matters.

This hybrid position balances remote flexibility with in-office collaboration, enabling engagement with both employees and leadership while ensuring fair HR policy application and legal compliance in South Africa.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years HR experience with emphasis on employee relations.
• Experience conducting complex workplace investigations.
• Knowledge of SA labour law: BCEA, LRA, EEA.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage and resolve employee grievances and disputes.
• Conduct thorough investigations into complaints, including harassment and policy violations.
• Advise line managers on employee relations issues and disciplinary processes.
• Develop and update HR policies and procedures for consistency.
• Lead employee relations training for management and staff.
• Collaborate with legal counsel on complex matters.
• Maintain confidential employee records for ER activities.
• Analyze trends and recommend proactive measures.
• Promote positive workplace culture and compliance with labour laws.
