Placements24 is seeking an detail-oriented E-commerce Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day online store operations from Richards Bay. You will oversee inventory, order fulfilment, and customer service to ensure a seamless shopping experience.

In this hands-on role, you will optimize workflows, monitor website performance, and collaborate with logistics partners to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction in a coastal market.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in e-commerce operations, logistics, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and order fulfilment.
• Excellent customer service with problem-solving focus.
• Familiarity with Shopify or WooCommerce platforms and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire order fulfillment process, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch of customer orders.
• Manage inventory levels across all sales channels, performing regular stock counts and coordinating with suppliers to maintain optimal stock.
• Handle customer inquiries and issues related to orders, shipping, and returns, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Monitor website performance and functionality, reporting any technical issues to the relevant teams for prompt resolution.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline e-commerce operations and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure efficient and cost-effective shipping solutions.
