Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an organized E-commerce Operations Coordinator to oversee our Stellenbosch-based online store. You will manage inventory, process orders, and coordinate logistics to ensure a seamless customer experience.

You will collaborate with suppliers, fulfilment partners and customer service teams, generating reports and monitoring shipping performance to drive improvements in a hands-on, on-site role.

About the Role

Our client is looking for an organized and proactive E-commerce Operations Coordinator to ensure the smooth and efficient running of their online store. This role is pivotal in managing inventory, processing orders, and coordinating logistics to deliver an excellent customer experience. You will be the backbone of our online sales operations, working closely with suppliers, fulfillment partners, and customer service teams. This is an on-site position that requires hands‑on involvement in the daily operational flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels across all e-commerce channels.


• Process and track online orders from placement through to fulfillment and delivery.


• Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods.


• Handle customer inquiries related to orders, shipping, and returns, providing timely resolutions.


• Monitor shipping performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.


• Generate regular reports on sales, inventory, and operational metrics.

Requirements

• Previous experience in e-commerce operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
