About the Role

Our client, a dynamic online retailer, is seeking a skilled and creative E-commerce Email Marketing Specialist to join their marketing team based in Upington, Northern Cape . This role is crucial for developing and executing effective email marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement, retention, and sales. You will be responsible for managing email lists, designing compelling email content, segmenting audiences, and analyzing campaign performance. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of email marketing best practices, is proficient with email marketing platforms, and possesses excellent copywriting and analytical skills. This is an excellent opportunity for a marketing professional to contribute significantly to customer relationship management and revenue growth within a growing e-commerce business. This is an on-site position at our Upington office.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and automated workflows (e.g., welcome series, abandoned cart reminders).
• Create engaging and persuasive email copy and design visually appealing email templates that align with brand guidelines.
• Segment email lists based on customer behavior, demographics, and purchase history to deliver personalized content.
• Manage the email subscriber database, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations.
• A/B test different elements of email campaigns (subject lines, content, CTAs, send times) to optimize performance.
• Analyze email campaign metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) and provide reports with actionable insights.
• Collaborate with the marketing and e-commerce teams to ensure cohesive messaging and promotional alignment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in email marketing and e-commerce.
• Troubleshoot any issues related to email delivery or platform functionality.

Requirements
