Placements24 in Centurion is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our team on a hybrid model. You will be the main contact for customers, translating their concerns into service orders and communicating repair estimates.

You will work closely with technicians, inspect vehicles with them, book appointments, handle payments, and keep customers informed about progress. Strong communication and automotive knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair processes.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with automotive dealership management systems (DMS) and related software.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Willingness to work a hybrid schedule, balancing remote and on-site responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, listen to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document service requests.
• Inspect vehicles with technicians to identify necessary repairs and recommend appropriate services.
• Provide clear, concise explanations of vehicle issues, repair recommendations, and associated costs.
• Manage service appointments and ensure efficient workflow for the service department.
• Maintain regular communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicle repairs.
• Process customer payments and ensure all service records are accurately maintained.
