Job summary

Phetogo in South Africa is seeking a diligent data entry and document indexing assistant to prepare documents for indexing and assign metadata. You will capture data accurately, conduct quality checks, and ensure secure storage and retrieval of information in line with company policies.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to follow SOPs, and efficiency in a computer-based environment. Candidates should be prepared to work shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher is required as a baseline.
• Ability to type efficiently without looking at the keyboard.
• Experience in a computer-based environment.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and weekends if required.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and prepare documents for indexing.
• Assign metadata (e.g., name, date, document type and content).
• Capture and extract data accurately.
• Conduct quality checks on indexed data.
• Store and retrieve data securely in line with company policies.
• Perform ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
