Job summary

FNB is seeking a Community Advisor for Alternative Channels in Somerset West to deliver exceptional customer experiences and guide clients to digital and self-service banking. This role focuses on understanding client needs, offering tailored financial solutions, and directing them to the most suitable service channels.

The position is a 12-month fixed-term contract based at the Somerset Value Mart site, with emphasis on building relationships, ensuring policy compliance, and meeting performance

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification: Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
Preferred Qualification: NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service, or related fields recognized by FAIS
1–3 years of experience in customer-facing environments, service delivery, or client support within financial services

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional and efficient customer experience by understanding customer needs and directing to appropriate service channels
Educate customers to the correct Banking platform aligned with their needs
Analyse customer data and recommend tailored solutions
Achieve sales results by providing contextual and integrated financial solutions
Ensure compliance with rules and processes and maintain attention to detail
