Job summary

Motus Toyota Cape Gate is seeking an Administrator: Service Advisor (Non-Technical) reporting to the Service Manager. The role focuses on maintaining high levels of service and delivering excellent customer service, coordinating workflow between service advisors, foreman and customers.

You will update service bookings, communicate with service staff, ensure vehicle and keys security, assist technicians with quotes, book in vehicles, and ensure test drives and comebacks are recorded and followed

Qualifications

Minimum Grade 12.
Minimum 3 years' Service Advisor experience.
Toyota Service Advisor certificate required.
Computer literacy essential.
Clear Criminal Record.
Motor industry experience is an advantage.
Excellent verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate workflow in the service department between service advisors, foreman and customers.
Update service bookings and communicate with service staff.
Ensure vehicle security and keys are kept in a keysafe.
Sign off job cards with Technicians and assist with quotes.
Book in vehicles and ensure test drives with Foreman or Quality Controller.
Follow up on parts ordered and report back to management.
Record comebacks and manage daily work-in-progress and cash outstanding.
