Job summary

Motus Toyota Strydom Park in Randburg is seeking an Administrator: Service Advisor (Non-Technical) reporting to the Service Manager. The role focuses on maintaining high service levels and delivering excellent customer service while coordinating workflow between service advisors, foremen and customers.

Key duties include updating bookings, securing vehicles and keys, signing off job cards, assisting technicians with quotes, booking in vehicles, test driving with supervisors, following up on

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ Service Advisor experience.
• Toyota Service Advisor certificate.
• Computer literacy (MS Office).
• Clear criminal record.
• Motor industry experience advantageous.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow in the service department between service advisors, foreman and customers.
• Update service bookings and communicate with service staff.
• Ensure vehicle security and keys are stored safely.
• Assist technicians with quotes in a timely manner.
• Book in vehicles and ensure test drives with Foreman or Quality Controller before client leaves.
• Record and report comebacks; ensure daily progress and cash are submitted to Service Manager.
• Order parts according to the parts ordering system; keep area clean and promote safety.
• Sell accessories and additional work; follow up on quotes not converted.
