Standard Bank Group is seeking an experienced Universal Banker to deliver client‑centred banking solutions in a branch environment. You will engage clients, identify needs, promote products, and ensure compliance with FAIS and governance standards.

The role requires a National Certificate or equivalent FAIS-aligned qualification (NQF 5) and 3–4 years of branch banking or client-facing sales experience. You will handle account activities and educate clients on digital banking options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years in branch banking or client-facing sales.
• Proven sales track record with cross-selling and meeting targets.
• Strong understanding of banking products, service delivery, and account activation.

Responsabilités

• Engage clients across branch and related channels to assess needs and provide banking solutions.
• Identify sales opportunities and promote relevant banking products to achieve growth targets.
• Open, amend, transfer, and close client accounts following procedures and compliance controls.
• Educate clients on processes, digital channels, and product features while upholding the Code of Banking Practice.
