Placements24 is seeking a skilled Chemical Process Design Engineer to join our client in Upington. You will lead the conceptual and detailed design of chemical processes, create PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specifications, and perform heat and material balances.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering, 4+ years in process design, and proficiency with Aspen Plus or CHEMCAD and CAD tools. Strong problem solving and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of process design experience in the chemical industry.
• Proficient in Aspen Plus or CHEMCAD; CAD tools knowledge.
• Solid understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and reaction engineering.
• Familiar with process safety management (PSM) principles.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
