Job summary

Marie-Louise Harrison's client, a leading retailer in Southern Africa, seeks a Branch Manager for the Tygervalley store. The role requires 5+ years in-store retail sales and 3 years of Store Management, with a focus on customer service excellence, sales performance and staff development.

The successful candidate will manage 30–40 staff, oversee budgets and assets, and drive merchandising standards while working retail hours in the Western Cape region.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ in-store retail (sales) experience
• 3 years’ Store Management experience
• Proven track record in shrinkage- and expense control, budgets and exceptional customer service
• IR experience will be an advantage
• Staff management of 30-40 staff
• Computer literate (Outlook, MS Word/Excel), numeric competency and exposure to Power BI reports
• Strong verbal- and written communication, target driven and leadership skills
• Valid driver’s license

Our client, one of the most successful retailers in Southern Africa, is looking to employ a Branch Manager to join their Tygervalley branch.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years’ in-store retail sales experience and three years’ Store Management experience

This position requires a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to join the Western Cape Region.

The successful applicant will play a critical role in driving customer service excellence, sales performance and staff development (succession) in our client's Tygervalley Store.

Minimum Requirements

• 5 years’ in-store retail (sales) experience
• 3 years’ Store Management experience
• Proven track record in shrinkage- and expense control, budgets and exceptional customer service
• IR experience will be an advantage
• Staff Management (30 - 40 staff)
• Computer literate (Outlook, MS Word/Excel), including strong numeric competency and exposure to PowerBI Reports
• Strong verbal- and written communication skills, target driven and exceptional leadership skills
• Valid Driver’s License.
