Job summary

Sanlam Developing Markets (SDM), a subsidiary of Sanlam Life Limited, is seeking a Branch Manager to grow the Retail Mass business in the Limpopo region. You will oversee branch strategy, lead sales consultants, and ensure service excellence while maintaining compliance and risk controls.

Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and client-focused execution are essential. Requirements include Matric, RE1/RE5, 120 Wealth Management credits or FSCA qualification, and CPD.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• RE1 and RE5 registrations are required.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or FSCA-recognised qualification.
• Class of Business accreditation (annual) is required.
• CPD current and past cycles must be compliant.

Responsibilities

• Grow customer base and revenue of Sanlam Retail Mass.
• Guide and standardise activities of Sales Consultants.
• Lead service delivery culture for optimal client experience.
• Manage day-to-day operations and branch strategy.
• Ensure sales delivery and drive a service culture.
• Ensure compliance, quality and risk management.
• Oversee HR-related people practices for direct reports.
• Plan monthly sales and service activities and report results.
• Engage key stakeholders to build relationships.
