Job summary

Sanlam Developing Markets (SDM) is seeking a Branch Manager to grow the customer base and revenue while leading a team of Sales Consultants within the Retail Mass cluster. You will drive the branch strategy, ensure exceptional client experiences, and oversee operations, compliance, and people practices.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) and industry-recognised financial services accreditations.
• RE1/RE5 and FSCA qualifications are required for regulatory compliance.
• Proven leadership with a track record in service delivery and risk management.
• Experience in wealth management products and credit/lending practices.
• Commitment to CPD and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Grow the customer base and revenue by executing the branch strategy.
• Guide and standardise activities of Sales Consultants in the branch.
• Lead a service-delivery culture for optimal client experience.
• Oversee day-to-day branch operations and business planning.
• Ensure sales delivery, compliance, quality and risk management.
• Handle HR-related activities for direct reports in collaboration with HR.
• Plan monthly sales/service activities and engage key stakeholders.
