Sanlam Developing Markets [SDM], part of the Sanlam group, seeks a Branch Manager to grow the customer base and revenue through strategic leadership of the Retail Mass branch. You will guide Sales Consultants, drive a service culture, and ensure compliance and risk management while collaborating with HR on people practices.

Responsibilities

• Grow customer base and revenue by developing and overseeing the branch strategy.
• Guide, integrate and standardise activities of Sales Consultants to the strategy.
• Lead a service delivery culture to enable an optimal client experience.
• Oversee day-to-day maintenance and management of the Retail branch.
• Develop branch strategy and business planning, ensuring sales delivery and service culture.
• Ensure compliance, quality and risk management.
• Manage HR practices for direct reports in collaboration with HR.
• Plan and report monthly sales and service activities.
• Engage key stakeholders to build relationships.
