Job summary

Sanlam Developing Markets (SDM) is seeking a Branch Manager to grow the customer base and revenue of the Retail Mass segment by developing and overseeing branch strategy. You will guide Sales Consultants to align with goals and drive a service delivery culture that enhances client experience.

The role requires 5 years of leadership experience, with strong people management, compliance, and collaboration with HR for talent development and performance management.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) and professional registrations where required.
• RE1 and RE5 licensure.
• 120 Wealth Management credits OR FSCA-recognised qualification.
• Class of Business accreditation (annual).
• CPD compliance current and past cycles.

Responsibilities

• Grow customer base and revenue for Sanlam Retail Mass through branch strategy execution.
• Guide and align Sales Consultants to common goals.
• Maintain service delivery culture and optimise client experience.
• Ensure branch operations, compliance and risk management.
• Oversee HR-related people practices for direct reports with HR support.
• Plan and report monthly on sales and service activities and stakeholder engagement.
