Sanlam Developing Markets (SDM) invites applications for a Branch Manager role within the Sanlam Retail Mass cluster. You will lead a team of Sales Consultants, drive the branch strategy, and ensure an exceptional client experience while maintaining compliance and risk controls.

Key responsibilities include growing the customer base and revenue, guiding and standardising activities, planning and reporting, and engaging stakeholders across the branch network.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) required.
• RE1 and RE5 certification required.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or FSCA-recognised qualification.
• Class of Business accreditation (annual).
• CPD compliance current and past cycles.
• Minimum 5 years leadership experience.
• Service management experience essential.
• Insurance sales and credit/lending experience.

Responsibilities

• Grow customer base and revenue through branch strategy.
• Guide and standardise activities of Sales Consultants.
• Lead service delivery culture and client experience.
• Oversee daily branch operations and planning.
• Ensure sales delivery, service culture, compliance, risk management.
• Manage HR-related people practices for direct reports.
• Monthly planning and reporting of sales and service.
• Engage stakeholders to build relationships.
