About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Banqueting Manager to lead their banqueting and events department in Mahikeng, North West. This role is critical for ensuring the successful execution of all catered events, including conferences, weddings, and corporate functions, from initial planning to final delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of event management principles. You will be responsible for managing event staff, coordinating with clients and vendors, overseeing budget adherence, and ensuring that every event meets the highest standards of quality and guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of banqueting operations, from client consultation and event planning to execution and post-event follow-up.
• Develop and manage banqueting budgets, ensuring profitability and cost control.
• Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and tailor services accordingly.
• Manage and schedule banqueting staff, providing training and performance feedback.
• Liaise with kitchen and beverage departments to ensure seamless service delivery and menu execution.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene standards within the banqueting areas.

Requirements
