Placements24 seeks a meticulous Banqueting & Events Coordinator to manage and execute events at a premier Stellenbosch venue. You will liaise with clients, coordinate logistics, manage vendors, and ensure every detail is executed with precision in a dynamic wine-country setting.

Your role spans from intimate dinners to large conferences and weddings, requiring strong organization, excellent communication, and the ability to handle multiple events under pressure.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in event planning/banqueting coordination.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with event management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client contact from inquiry to post-event follow-up.
• Develop proposals, contracts, and event orders.
• Coordinate catering, AV, décor, seating, and timelines.
• Coordinate with kitchen, banqueting, and AV teams for seamless events.
• Manage external vendors within budget and quality.
• Oversee day-of-event execution and issue resolution.
