Job summary

Placements24 in Centurion is seeking an experienced Aquatics Manager & Program Coordinator to lead, develop, and oversee all aquatic programs, ensuring a safe, engaging, and high-quality experience for participants.

You will manage staff, budgets, and ensure compliance with safety and health standards, while collaborating with marketing to promote programs and drive participation in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of aquatics management experience.
• Current lifeguard and CPR/First Aid certifications mandatory.
• WSI certification highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pool operations, water chemistry, and safety procedures.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends with hybrid admin duties.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage aquatic programs (swim lessons, fitness classes, recreational activities).
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise lifeguards, swim instructors, and aquatic attendants.
• Enforce pool rules and safety regulations; conduct safety audits and drills.
• Manage the aquatic facility budget, including costs, equipment maintenance, and supplies.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote programs and drive participation and revenue.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards for public aquatic facilities.
