Qualifications

• Proven experience in facility management, preferably in an aquatic or leisure environment.
• Strong knowledge of pool operations, water chemistry, and lifesaving/first aid standards.
• Certification in Pool Operations or a related field is advantageous.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with program development and event planning within a leisure setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the aquatic centre, including pool maintenance, cleaning schedules, and safety protocols.
• Supervise and train a team of lifeguards, swim instructors, and customer service staff.
• Develop and implement aquatic programs, lessons, and events to attract and retain members.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage budgets, including forecasting, expenditure control, and revenue generation initiatives.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and resolve operational issues promptly.
