You will partner with schools and clubs, drive participation, and ensure exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of safety and water quality in a busy centre.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing aquatic facilities or recreation centres.
• Knowledge of pool operations, water chemistry, and safety regulations.
• Current lifeguard certification (e.g., RLSS, ILS) and pool operator certification.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience in staff management, training, and program development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the aquatics centre, safety protocols, and patron services.
• Develop and manage swimming programs, lessons, and events.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise lifeguard staff, ensuring certifications are current.
• Ensure health, safety and emergency procedures, maintain water quality and facility cleanliness.
• Manage the aquatics centre budget, including revenue generation from admissions, programs, and concessions.
• Liaise with local schools, clubs, and community groups to promote aquatics programs and facility rentals.
