Qualifications

• Proven experience managing aquatic facilities or leisure centres.
• Certifications such as Pool Operator, Lifeguard Instructor, and First Aid/CPR are essential.
• Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of aquatic centre operations, including pool maintenance, water quality, and safety protocols.
• Manage and schedule lifeguards, swim instructors, and aquatic program staff.
• Develop and implement diverse aquatic programs, classes, and events to meet community needs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards for public swimming pools.
• Manage operational budgets, control expenses, and contribute to revenue generation through programming and memberships.
