Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing aquatic facilities or similar recreational operations.
• Current lifeguard certification (e.g., RLSS) and First Aid/CPR certification are essential.
• Experience in staff management, training, and scheduling.
• Strong understanding of pool operations, water chemistry, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• A passion for swimming and promoting water safety and fitness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of daily aquatic operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and club policies.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise lifeguards, swim instructors, and other aquatic staff.
• Develop and implement a diverse range of aquatic programs, including swimming lessons, fitness classes, and recreational activities.
• Manage the maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of the swimming pools, decks, and associated equipment.
• Develop and manage the aquatics department budget, controlling expenses and identifying revenue opportunities.
• Respond to and manage emergencies and incidents within the aquatic facility with professionalism and efficiency.
