Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing aquatic facilities or similar recreational operations.
• Current Pool Lifeguard and First Aid/CPR certifications are mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of pool operations, water chemistry, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience in staff management, scheduling, and training.
• Ability to develop and manage budgets effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the aquatic centre, including scheduling, staffing, and patron services.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and emergency regulations and protocols.
• Develop, implement, and promote a variety of aquatic programs, including swimming lessons, aqua aerobics, and club activities.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate aquatic staff, including lifeguards and instructors.
• Manage the aquatic centre's budget, including revenue generation and expense control.
• Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of all pool facilities and equipment.
