Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.
• Experience handling phone calls in patient-facing roles.
• Confident speaking with patients over the phone for appointment coordination and follow-up calls.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks accurately.
• Independent worker with clear communication and reliable remote setup (computer, headset, internet).
• HIPAA knowledge or compliant workflows experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with patients and healthcare contacts in bilingual English and Spanish.
• Manage appointment scheduling via phone, email, and text; maintain provider calendars.
• Verify patient eligibility and benefits before appointments and document results.
• Process referral tasks and prior authorization requests; track approvals/denials.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and support daily administrative workflows.
