GoLean Health is seeking an experienced Bilingual Virtual Medical Assistant (Spanish/English) to support a U.S.-based pulmonology practice. This remote, part-time role covers 30 hours per week with tasks including patient communication, appointment coordination, EMR data entry, and insurance verification, all while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of U.S. healthcare support experience and the ability to collaborate with on-site staff and other VMAs.

Formación

• Bilingual in Spanish and English with strong verbal and written communication.
• 1 year of experience supporting U.S.-based healthcare practices.
• Hands-on experience with patient calls, scheduling, EMR documentation, and clinical administrative workflows.
• HIPAA compliance and ability to obtain certification if needed.

Responsabilidades

• Handle bilingual patient calls in English and Spanish; confirm appointments and route messages.
• Coordinate patient referrals, scheduling, and inquiries within the EMR; support insurance verification workflows.
• Collaborate with VMAs and on-site staff to manage high call volumes and maintain coverage.
