As the Director of Solution Marketing at BMC, you will lead how we position Control-M to the market, shape go-to-market strategies, and connect our platform to the priorities of CIOs, CTOs, and data leaders worldwide. In this role, you\'ll own the narrative for one of BMC\'s most important products. You\'ll collaborate with product management, sales, demand generation, and analyst relations to craft compelling stories, launch new capabilities, outmaneuver competitors, and arm our sellers and partners with everything they need to win.

• Define messaging and positioning that resonates with C-level buyers.
• Lead integrated go-to-market plays that drive pipeline and revenue.
• Partner with product and executive leaders to shape strategic narratives around cloud, AI, and data-driven transformation.
• Collaborate on the development of sales playbooks and competitive tools that increase win rates and deal velocity.
• Turn customer success stories into market-facing thought leadership.
• Analyze performance and optimize messaging across campaigns and channels.

To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• You hold a Bachelor\'s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field with 10+ years of product or solution marketing experience in enterprise software.
• You have strong storytelling skills and the ability to connect technology to business outcomes.
• You have experience influencing GTM strategy, analyst positioning, and C-level engagement.
• You are a collaborator who thrives at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing.
• Experience in automation, data, or cloud markets is a plus.

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

The range listed is just one component of BMC\'s employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.

At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $168,075 - $280,125
