Overview

The Tech-Monitor under the supervision and delegation of the Registered Nurse, has the responsibility for monitoring, documenting, and reporting the ECG activity of patients on the telemetry unit. The position is an important communication link with the RN regarding changes in cardiac rhythms.

Required Qualifications
  • Coursework/Training: Satisfactory completion of a Medical terminology course. Or equivalent educ/experience
  • Coursework/Training: Completion of a basic ECG course, or completion within 30 days of hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
