ModMed is hiring a driven IT Support Specialist to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing IT Support team. The IT Support Specialist will provide technical assistance to users of computer hardware and software by answering questions and troubleshooting problems. This role supports all facets of our clinical products including supporting our sales team on-site at customer locations. The IT Support Specialist will also be responsible for assisting in the deployment of new computers and peripherals as well as ensuring the proper operation of all installed systems and equipment.

Your Role:

• Provide technical support services via telephone, e-mail, chat, or face-to-face interactions.
• Remotely access user devices and desktop applications.
• Assess system requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
• Implement security measures.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that all teams are meeting their objectives.
• Create training materials.
• Maintain records and logs.
• Work flexible hours and/or shifts if needed (may include evenings, weekends, and holidays).

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Experience working in a Helpdesk environment preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively and maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
• Aptitude to learn new products quickly.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and decision making ability.
