Job description

Location: Danvers, MA

Industry: Civil Construction / Infrastructure

Overview

We’re seeking a Lead Scheduler who knows how to build and manage construction schedules from the ground up. This isn’t a checkbox role — it’s for someone who takes initiative, understands the work, and can tell the story behind the numbers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is passionate about driving project success through proactive planning and clear communication.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and manage detailed construction schedules across a range of civil, utility, and infrastructure projects.
  • Create and refine schedule narratives that clearly communicate project logic, progress, and risks.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure alignment between field execution and schedule updates.
  • Analyze project data to forecast impacts, identify opportunities for recovery, and recommend solutions.
  • Lead scheduling strategy meetings and advise leadership on schedule performance, trends, and best practices.
  • Support preconstruction and bid efforts by developing baseline schedules and resource-loaded timelines.
Qualifications
  • A confident, hands-on scheduler who knows construction — not just software.
  • Experienced in Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools, with strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Capable of translating complex project timelines into actionable insights.
  • Driven, proactive, and able to take ownership from day one.
  • Comfortable in the field and office alike, with a deep understanding of heavy civil, utility, or infrastructure construction.
