Job Description Diesel Mechanic – Veteran Wanted

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks and heavy-duty vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions efficiently.
• Conduct inspections, identify faults, and create detailed repair estimates for approval.
• Replace or repair faulty parts and components, such as engines, brakes, transmission, and electrical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of vehicles and prevent breakdowns.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on each vehicle.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Must be a veteran with prior experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a diesel mechanic vocational or technical training program is a plus.
• Proven expertise in diesel engine diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with various heavy-duty vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy vehicle parts and perform manual tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
